The Hays CISD Clothes Closet opened in 2018, to connect individuals, churches, services organizations, and businesses in our community - our neighborhood.

The Hays CISD Clothes Closet is located in the building between Simon Middle School and Hemphill Elementary School
(formerly the Hays CISD Well Clinic) at:

Together, we can help our students and families remove clothing barriers.

We appreaciate your interest in our Clothes Closet and help with this project. Unfortunately, we cannot accept:

• Stained, torn, pilled, or worn out clothes; or items w/ missing buttons or broken zippers

• T-shirts with church, business, alcohol or tobacco logos

• Pajamas or previously worn socks or underwear

• Items with pet hair or smoke smell

• Hats, purses or jewelry

All clothes donated must meet the Hays CISD Dress Code
