Auditions for the 2010 Talent Showcase, hosted by the Hays High School Choir, will be Feb. 8 at the Performing Arts Center. The Talent Showcase is scheduled for Feb. 20, 2010 at the Performing Arts Center. Audition guidelines include: fully rehearsed and performance ready; vocal auditions must have live accompaniment or instrumental CD with no voice singing on the CD; supply your own equipment, though a piano will be provided; and be available on Feb. 19 for a dress rehearsal. Audition fee is $5 for students and $10 for groups of five or more. All proceeds go to the Hays High School Choir Scholarship Fund. More than $3,000 in choir scholarships were funded in 2008-09.
